1. When is your last appointment?
Generally, we schedule our last appointment one hour before closing. This ensures that our staff remains well rested and balanced. However, we are able to accommodate extenuating circumstances when notified in advance.
2. Does waxing hurt?
To say no would be misleading, but at Monique.s Boutique & Day Spa we minimize the discomfort. The more relaxed and at ease you are the more comfortable this experience will be for you. All of our estheticians are carefully trained to ensure the highest possible comfort level. Should you require, you may choose to take an aspirin or ibuprofen before your appointment.
3. Do you perform massages on both men and women?
Our spa services are specifically designed to meet the needs of all our clients. We serve both genders and have female and male massage therapists on staff. If you have a preference, please notify us when you make your appointment and we will accommodate your needs.
4. Why do you require a credit card deposit/security when making an appointment?
We reserve our time for you and would like to ensure that you will arrive for your appointment. Should you like to forgo the credit card guarantee, please make an appointment Monday thru Thursday. If you are unable to give us 24 hour notice, we will charge your credit card 50% of the service fee or your gift certificate will be reduced to 50% of the value.
5. Why can we not add gratuity to on the credit card?
Our staff appreciates gratuity as an indication of excellent service. Consequently, we want to ensure that our staff does not bear the burden of fees that are associated with each credit card transaction. Thus, we ask our valued clients to refrain from adding gratuity to your total credit card payment.
